Etihad Airways and Amadeus IT Group have launched Amadeus Gulf, a joint venture company to provide a global distribution system for travel companies and travel agents in the UAE, Bahrain and Oman. The Amadeus Reservations System will offer travel agents in these markets access to a database of Etihad's full range of air fares. Amadeus will also give Etihad greater access to business and leisure travellers across the world and support the airline's growth strategy, according to a press statement.
