El-Sewedy Cables to open cable manufacturing plant in Libya by end 2011

Company will invest $50m in the plant

Ahmed Homossani, investor relations director at Egypt’s El-Sewedy Cables has said the company plans to set up a cable manufacturing plant in Libya by the end of 2011 with investments of $50m, Reuters has reported. “The plant will generate revenues of 20 per cent (of the investment)” after it begins operation, Homossani told the news service.
