Emaar Bawadi launch residential tower complex

Emaar Bawadi, a joint venture between the local Emaar Properties and Bawadi, a member of Tatweer, has launched Maysan Towers.

The three residential tower project, of 30, 26 and 24-storeys will be located within the 6.5 million square metre Asmaran community in Bawadi.

When completed Asmaran will house up to 55,000 people, feature 370,000 square metres of commercial space, over 5,000 serviced apartments and nine hotels.

Emaar Bawadi formed the $16bn joint venture in October 2007 to develop 5.5 million square metres of land in Dubailand (MEED 26:10:08).

Bawadi will feature 51 hotels along a 10-kilometre stretch of Dubailand. It will also include the world’s largest hotel, Asia Asia, with 6,500 rooms. US-based Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects is the project’s designer.
