Deal to build the mixed-use development was signed in December last year
Dubai developer Emaar Properties has invited contractors to bid for construction work on The Address development in Ras al-Khaimah.
The first phase of the project involves the construction of serviced apartment buildings. Contractors have been invited to bid by 21 September for that contract.
The second phase involves building a hotel. The tender closing date for that contract is in October.
A third phase covering the construction of apartments is expected to be tendered in April next year.
Overall the development has 186,000 square-metres of mixed-use space that includes high-end residential, hospitality and retail components.
The project manager is South Africas Mirage. The consultant is Kuwaits SSH.
Emaar signed an agreement to develop the scheme on Ras al-Khaimahs Al-Marjan Island in December 2016.
The agreement was signed by Sheikh Khalid bin Saud al-Qasimi, chairman of Al-Marjan Island, and Mohamed Alabbar, chairman of Emaar Properties.
