Raffles International School will be in a residential community, Bay Le Sun Village, and will be managed by a third company in the Emaar Properties group, Raffles Campus of Singapore.
The school will offer the International Baccalaureate and Cambridge’s International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) programmes.
It will be the second school in the city, following the signing of a memorandum of understanding in April with Global Education Management Systems. That school will open its doors in 2009 with an initial intake of 2,000 students.
Emaar Properties acquired Raffles Campus in September 2006 as part of its plans to develop educational facilities within its projects across the Middle East.
