Emirates Aluminium (Emal) has signed a contract with Trans Gulf, a local manufacturer of aluminium wire rods and aluminium alloy ingots to deliver 50,000 to 80,000 metric tonnes of molten aluminium per year. Providing hot metal to the downstream industries such as Trans Gulf provides benefits including the reduction of energy, time and money spent for re-melting.
