Emirates boosts Middle East network

Emirates Airline said it will strengthen its Middle East route network with additional flights to Amman, Riyadh and Jeddah starting February 2009. In the first week of February, the carrier will add flights to three cities in the region - one additional flight to Riyadh, two additional flights to Amman, and one additional flight to Jeddah. From 2nd February, Emirates will add two more flights per week between Dubai and Amman on Tuesdays and Fridays, bringing its weekly service to Jordan to 12. On 1st February, Emirates' Dubai-Riyadh service will increase from six-a-week to become daily. On 3rd February, Emirates' Dubai-Jeddah service will also increase to daily flights from the current six-a-week service.
