According to an Emirates spokesperson, the Emirates EK 202 flight from New York to Dubai on October 31 was cancelled due to a technical problem. The airline operates the A380 super jumbo, which can carry 489 passengers, on the route. So far Emirates has taken delivery of two A380 super jumbos, of the 55 on order.
