Emirates Airline has signed a memorandum of understanding with GE Aviation, an operating unit of General Electric, to enhance Emirate's repair and testing capabilities on GE90 engines. Under the agreement, Emirates will perform engine module and piece-part breakdown on GE90-115B engines in the region along with GE90-115B engine testing at its Engine Test Facility, while GE will ensure that the carrier has the necessary material and manpower support.
