Emirates has announced a series of environmental initiatives on the eve of taking delivery of its first Airbus A380, to improve its operations worldwide. Named the Emvironment programme, it includes the adoption of a new environmental policy for the company, a global staff awareness campaign and internal goals to reduce energy consumption and waste, as well as increase recycling and training.
