Rick Pudner, chief executive officer of Emirates NBD has denied reports about talks over merging its Emirates Islamic Bank unit with Dubai Bank, Bloomberg has reported. “The reports in the press regarding the completion of these technical examinations, evaluations are not accurate,” Pudner said. “I would just like to confirm that there are currently no talks with regard to the merger or acquisition of Dubai Bank by Emirates Islamic.”
