An Emirates official has confirmed that its fares would be increased by 10% for economy class and 5% for first and business class, effective today, reported Khaleej Times. The official said the 'the staggering increase in fuel prices' has raised all of the airline's operational costs, forcing it to revise our fares accordingly. The Emirates' fare increase follows an earlier hike of 5.5% introduced on February 15 this year.
