Emirates secures new aircraft finance

Emirates Airline has secured $297 million in new finance to fund the acquisition of two wide-body Boeing aircraft.

The 10-year operating lease will finance a Boeing 777 200LR, which was delivered in November, and a 777 300ER, which will arrive before the end of the year. The deal was arranged by the German groups Doric Asset Finance & Verwaltungs, Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale, along with the corporate management business, Dr. Peters Group.
