Emirates Airlines said it is still mulling its options with regard to repairing the A340-500 aircraft which had its tail struck against the runway while taking off from Melbourne last March. 'Repair options for the aircraft are under consideration. We are yet to take a final decision,' an Emirates spokesperson told Gulf News. Nobody was injured during the incident and the landing was completed safely.
