Emirates Airline to launch weekly flights to Basra starting February 2011
Emirates Airline has announced it is to launch three weekly flights to the southern Iraqi city of Basra starting 2 February 2011. The flight will be operated by an Airbus A330. Basra will be Emirates’ first Iraq route after the airline postponed the launch of flights to Baghdad earlier this year citing “operational reasons”.
