ETA Ascon to build Summit tower in Dubai

08 July 2008
The local ETA Ascon has been awarded the estimated AED485m ($132m) contract to build the Summit tower project at Dubai Media City.

Located next to the fifth interchange and Dubai Marina, the contract involves the construction of a 30-floor commercial building. The total built-up area is about 100,000 square metres.

The local Dutch Foundation is working on the piling package. The local Dar Consult is the consultant. The client is local developer ETA Star.

The project is located next to another project, 23 Marina, which ETA Star is developing in a joint venture with India’s A Hiranandani. The local Dubai Civil Engineering (DCE) was awarded the AED485m main construction contract for the tower in 2006. It involves the construction of a 380-metre, 88floor tower.
