Etihad aims for $3bn 2009 revenue

UAE national carrier Etihad Airways has predicted that it will continue to grow through 2009, despite the financial crisis. CEO James hogan said that the group was looking to increase its 2008 revenue by 20%, to $3bn, this year. The carrier plans to expand its routes to 55 over the course of 2009.
