Contractors have submitted commercial bids for Adnoc Offshore’s facilities integration project at Das Island, located in the Gulf’s waters off Abu Dhabi emirate, according to a source.
Adnoc Offshore received bids on 5 August for the facilities integration contract.
Among the firms that have bid for the estimated $30m job are:
- Target Engineering (UAE)
- Al-Asab (UAE)
- consortium of Chiyoda CCC Engineering Limited (UAE) / Consolidated Contractors Company (Lebanon)
- MBTC (Kuwait)
- Adyard (UAE).
“This is a safety-related project, so the process [of awarding the contract] might move faster than some of their [Adnoc Offshore] projects,” the source said.
The contract is expected to be awarded in November.
The scope of work on this project includes providing:
- Replacement of the process piping header, spanning 1.5 kilometres
- Temporary piping
- Structural element replacement
- Pipe rack replacement
- Associated facilities.
