Contractors are preparing to submit technical bids on 15 April for Adnoc Onshore’s estimated $1.5bn Bu Hasa Integrated Field Development project.
Companies that have prequalified to bid on the project are:
- China Petroleum Engineering & Construction Corporation
- Saipem
- Dodsal
- Tecnicas Reunidas
- Petrofac
- Larsen & Toubro
The project was originally tendered in November 2017 and includes:
- Expanding Bu Hasa’s gathering facilities
- Upgrading flowlines
- Adding two compression trains
- Water injection network
US-based CH2M and UAE-based Litwin Pel are the consultants working on the project.
The project is one of a range of planned megaprojects in the hydrocarbons sector.
In November last year, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) announced its intention to invest AED400bn ($106.7bn) over the next five years in oil, gas, and petrochemicals.
