Sources say good progress has been made on the package

Package B of Adnoc Onshore’s Tie-In Southeast project is due to be completed on-schedule in April 2018, according to industry sources.

“The project has seen good progress and is expected to be completed on time,” said a source close to the project.

The engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract for the package was worth $170m and was awarded to the Pakistani multinational company Descon Engineering in October 2015.

Adnoc Onshore recently retendered two other packages, worth a total of $500m, that were also part of the larger Tie-In Southeast project.

One of the packages, known as Package C, is estimated to be worth $200m. I includes the supply and installation of new manifolds as well as tying-in existing wells at the Asab and Sahil fields.

The second package is known as Package D and is estimated to be worth $300m. It includes the supply and installation of new manifolds as well as tying-in existing wells at the Shah, Qusahwira, and Mender fields.

The exiting bid submission deadline for these engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contracts is 21 January.

The fourth package in the project, worth $120m, is known as Package A.

It was awarded to the UAE-based EPC contractor Al-Asab in October 2015.

Adnoc Onshore is a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi’s National Oil Company (Adnoc) and produces 1.6m barrels of oil a day (b/d) and 5.6 billion cubic feet of gas a day (cf/d).
