Saudi Arabia’s National Water Company (NWC) has invited consultants to submit proposals for the contract to draw up a water and wastewater masterplan for Riyadh.
According to sources close to the kingdom’s water sector, consultancy firms have been invited to submit proposals by 14 October.
The project is part of the kingdom’s ambitious programme to upgrade and expand its water transmission and wastewater infrastructure.
In August, NWC invited local and international firms to express interest in participating in a market sounding exercise about private sector involvement in the kingdom’s water distribution sector.
