Faithful+Gould hires new development director

David Clifton joined UK-based consultant from Hill International

Faithful+Gould has appointed David Clifton as regional development director for the Middle East region as the UK project management firm looks to grow its business in the region.

Clifton has over 14 years of experience in development, and most recently was working for US-based Hill International in the Middle East. He is now looking do develop new business for the firm across a variety of sectors. “The market potential, particularly in the retail, transport infrastructure and hospitality sectors, is huge.  I’m very much looking forward to working with the team to leverage Faithful+Gould’s long track record in the Middle East,” he says.

The appointment comes as Faithful+Gould parent company, UK-based consultant Atkins, acquired Confluence Project Management in early October to create one of the most active project management and cost management consultancies in the Middle East.

Faithful+Gould has been working in the region for 15 years and has worked on high-profile projects including the Saadiyat Rotana hotel in Abu Dhabi, the Asian Beach Games in Oman, the Najmat on Abu Dhabi’s Reem Island, Jumeirah Lakes Towers in Dubai, the Lusail Light Rail Transit scheme in Qatar, and King Abdul Aziz International airport in Jeddah.
