MAN was the lowest of five bidders when prices for the original scheme were opened in May (MEED 27:5:05). The original scope of works covered the construction of a 180 million-cubic-feet-a-day (cf/d) gas processing plant to go alongside the existing oil production facilities at the field. Initial output will be 47 million cf/d. The technical changes involve an increase in gas processing capacity and changes to the project vendor list that have seen an increase in the number of US – as opposed to European – suppliers on the project.
