Fehied Fahad al-Shareef

Biography: Fehied Fahad al-Shareef was appointed governor of the SWCC in April 2004, following the departure of his predecessor, Abdullah bin Abdul-Rahman al-Hussayen, to become the Water & Electricity Minister.
Al-Shareef is also chairman of the board of directors of Water & Electricity Company, a position he has also held since 2004. He has held a number of other positions during his career, including as an adviser to the Water & Electricity Ministry, deputy governor for policies and international co-operation at the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (Sagia), and deputy governor for investors services also at Sagia.
Al-Shareef has a master’s degree in economics from Utah State University in the US and a bachelor’s degree in economics and political sciences from King Saud University in Riyadh.
