No causalities and limited damage says state news agency
A fire broke out at in the heavy oil unit of the Shuaiba refinery in Kuwait on 15 January, according to state news agency KUNA.
There were no casualties and the fire was quickly brought under control.
It is the third fire to break out at a Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) refinery over recent months.
On 31 August, a fire broke out in the Mina al-Ahmadi refinerys sulfur storage area and, also in August, several workers were hospitalised in a fire at the same refinerys waste treatment facility.
