Up to 10 firms are understood to be submitting bids for the contract for the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC) building.

The contract for the building is expected to be worth SR600m ($160m).

The duration of the project is approximately two years. Bids will be submitted on 14 October.

A decision is expected in two months.

The CITC – previously known as the Saudi Communications Commission – is the Saudi communications authority and industry regulator in Saudi Arabia, responsible for issuing licences to new internet and telecom providers.
