Five out of six interested companies have qualified to bid for mobile license
The Syrian telecom ministry has said that five out of six interested companies have qualified to bid for the country’s third mobile licence, Reuters has reported. The pre-qualification shortlist includes Etisalat, France Telecom, Qtel, Turkcell, and Saudi Telecom, with Iranian group Tamco missing out.
