Danish cement and minerals specialist reports 2009 profits of $301.7m
The Copenhagen-based engineering company FLSmidth has reported a 10% profits increase in 2009 compared to 2008.
The Danish company’s annual report stated that profits increased to $301.7m compared to $274.7m in 2008. Revenues for 2009 decreased 9% to $4.19 billion from $4.58 billion in 2008.
FLSmidth’s core business in the Middle East and North Africa region is the supply of cement and minerals to the construction industry.
