Dubai's first budget airline, Flydubai, has announced its first service will take off in June starting with flights to Beirut on June 1 and Amman on June 2. The airline will become the fifth budget carrier to operate in the Gulf region, competing mainly with Air Arabia and Jazeera Airways. Flydubai will operate a fleet of Boeing aircrafts, each offering 189 economy class seats, from its base at Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport.
