Tickets available from August
The Dubai-based low-cost carrier FlyDubai is set to launch business class services on its 60-destination network.
Tickets will be available from August, with the first flights to take off in October 2013.
All new aircraft will be subsequently be delivered with business and economy classes.
The airline’s business class cabin will feature 12 seats and an in-flight entertainment system with a high-definition touchscreen of 12.1 inches.
Business class passengers will have their own dedicated cabin crew and will be offered a selection of cold light food on short flights and a choice of a three-course meal on flights of 90 minutes or longer.
Other benefits include priority check-in, priority baggage collection upon arrival at destination, as well as access to FlyDubai’s business class lounge later in the year.
FlyDubai became profitable after just three years after it announced net profits of AED151.9m ($41.1m) for 2012 earlier this year.
