It will be the Dubai airline’s third destination in Syria
Dubai’s budget carrier Flydubai will start flights to Latakia in Syria on 20 June this year.
This is the airline’s third destination in Syria, following routes to Damascus and Aleppo.
Latakia is a seaport and is located to the south-west of Aleppo. The city is becoming an increasingly popular tourism destination due to its beaches, mountains and local archaeological monuments.
The carrier, backed by the Dubai government, was launched in June 2009 and flies to Bahrain, Beirut, Amman, Damascus and Aleppo in Syria, Alexandria, Djibouti, Doha, Khartoum and Baku.
