Located north of An-Nahdah Street in the city centre, the building will have a total floor area of 5,000 square metres, divided over ground, lower ground, and upper ground levels, and a street frontage of some 70 metres. ‘We are aiming at a niche and fashion-focused development, attracting the better quality retail brands,’ says an executive for David Adamson.
Total project costs are estimated at around RO 2 million ($5.2 million). Once the main tenants are in place, Adamson plans to invite contractors to bid for the construction work, which is expected to take between six and nine months to complete. The official opening is planned for 2004.
