Net foreign investment reaches AED37.7m on Dubai Financial Market
Foreign investors bought shares worth AED1.675bn ($456m) on the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) during the week ended 25 March, the exchange said in a statement.
The shares purchased over the five days comprised 43.9 per cent of the total value of stocks on the exchange, DFM said on 25 March.
The value of shares sold by foreign investors during the same period reached AED1.637bn, comprising 42.9 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.
Net foreign investment on the exchange stood at AED37.7m, while net institutional investment reached AED233.2m, with institutional investors buying shares worth AED815.9m, 21.4 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the five days.
Institutional investors sold shares worth AED582.7m, which constituted 15.3 per cent of the total value of stocks.
