US engineering firm Foster Wheeler will oversee construction work at Qasr condensate field in Egypt
The US/Egyptian Apache Khalda has awarded the US’ Foster Wheeler the technical consultancy contract to oversee the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) phase of the Qasr Compression project in Egypt.
The scope of works for the project includes the provision of additional compression to existing facilities at the Qasr gas condensate field, which is located about 525 kilometres west of Cairo in Egypt’s Western Desert. The EPC phase has a completion date of early 2015.
