The local Galfar Engineering & Contracting has been awarded two contracts by the Ministry of Transport & Communication totalling RO 84 mn ($218 mn).
The first project involves the construction of the Hasik-Ash Shuwaymiyah road in Dhofar Governorate.
The contract value is RO 68 mn ($177 million) and the completion period is four years.
The company has also been awarded the land leveling contract at Seeb International Airport.
The contract value is RO 16 mn ($42 million) and the completion period is 14 months.
