initial findings of an assessment of damages in Gaza.

The estimated total cost of damages incurred from

26 June-28 August as a result of the Israeli military operation was $46 million. The initial damages per sector are

$8 million to municipal

infrastructure, $8 million to energy, $23.5 million to agriculture, $2 million to

housing, $4.2 million to

public buildings and $300,000 to industry. The figures do not reflect the estimated costs for the required repairs (MEED 11:8:06).
