Lifestyle, boutique and two-four star hotels are areas of opportunity in the GCC hospitality industry, Roya International Group chief executive Ahmed Ramadan told delegates at the Arabian Hotel Investment Conference 2014 (AHIC) on 4 May.

“The greatest potential is in two-three star hotels,” said Ramadan. “Dubai needs more boutique hotels and more highly-segemented hotels. We are also very busy in Dubai.”

Ramadan said that Saudi Arabia’s boutique hotel market also offered good investment opportunities.
