Project plans in the region will push passenger footfall to over 260 million a year

Countries in the GCC are spending more than $44bn on airport developments, concentrating on attracting new airlines and creating regional hubs. Once airport expansions are complete, they will handle over 260 million passengers a year.

This video special report looks at major airport projects in Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE, where Dubai Airports recently said they had beaten its target of 50 million  ‘year on year’ passengers.
