One firm has so far expressed interest in the tender for the construction of a new sewerage system and the upgrading of the existing sewage treatment plant in Barka South, in Oman.
The tender was issued by the Regional Municipalities & Water Resources Ministry on 22 September. The closing date for bids is 10 November.
The local Global Trading & Contracting Company is the only firm known to have purchased the tender documents to date.
Barka South is in the Al-Batinah region of the sultanate, between Khatmat Malahah to the north and Ras al-Hamra to the south.
