Dubai group to supply modules for gas treatment plant being built in Oman

Global Process Systems (GPS) has won a contract to supply process modules for the Lekhwair gas treatment project in Oman.

The contract was awarded by India’s Larsen & Toubro (L&T), which is carrying out the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) work for project owner, Petroleum Development Oman (PDO).

GPS’ contract covers the supply of gas-sweetening and gas-dehydration systems to be manufactured in Abu Dhabi, the Dubai-based process facilities company said in a statement.

The Lekhwair project involves the construction of a single-train gas plant that will export treated gas to a gas plant in Yibal and condensate and water to the Lekhwair production station. GPS is a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi-based Al Jaber Group.
