Two new Embraer 190-100 aircraft have joined Gulf Air's fleet this month, raising to 12 the number of new planes the carrier had received in the last year, Gulf News has reported. The new Embraer 190-100 aircraft comes with 12 Falcon Gold and 84 economy seats and is slightly bigger than the E170s. With the induction of 12 new aircraft in the past year and the phasing out of 12 older aircraft, the average age of our fleet is just 6.8 years.
