Gulf Air to break even in 2010, says executive

Bahrain-based Gulf Air plans to break even in 2010 despite the financial downturn due to continued growth in regional air traffic, a senior executive said. 'The industry is challenged and most airlines will take a beating but this region is growing in passengers and revenues. Gulf Air will definitely break even by 2010,' Siah Joo Tan, director of Corporate Development, was quoted as saying by Reuters.
