The MEED index of projects planned or under way in the Middle East grew by 0.2 per cent in the week to 2 February.

There was no change to value of projects in Bahrain and Qatar.

Iraq's portfolio of projects grew at 1.1 per cent, the fastest rate in the region while in the GCC, Saudi Arabia recorded growth of 0.9 per cent.

The index is 58.7 per cent higher year on year.
