The value of projects planned and under way in the Gulf increased by 1.5 per cent to $2.29 trillion in the week to 7 July.
The highest growth was recorded in Qatar, where the total volume of projects rose by almost 7 per cent to $219bn.
With the exception of Iraq, all the other Gulf markets in the MEED Projects index experienced an increase in their project portfolios.
Year on year, the index is up by 41 per cent.
