Gulf projects 12 January 2009

The value of projects planned or under way in Middle East fell by 0.1 per cent in the week to 12 January.

Oman and Kuwait were the biggest fallers, with the size of their project portfolios contracting by 2.5 and 1.5 per cent respectively.

There was no change in the value of Bahraini, Iraqi and Iranian projects this week.

The fastest growth was experienced by Kuwait, which recorded a 0.9 per cent increase in project value.
