Gulf projects 13 October 2008

19 October 2008
The MEED Projects index surged by almost 8 per cent to $2.76 trillion in the week to 13 October, as a result of a handful of major real estate developments being launched at the Cityscape exhibition in Dubai.

The unveiling of the $95bn Jumeira Gardens scheme and the $38bn Nakheel Harbour & Tower development pushed the total value of UAE projects planned or under way above $1 trillion for the first time.
