Gulf projects 16 March 2009

The MEED Projects index reached $3.12 trillion in the week to 16 March, an increase of 0.4 per cent on the previous week.

The growth was driven by a 1.5 per cent rise in the value of projects planned or under way in Saudi Arabia.

There was no change to the size of project portfolios in Bahrain, Oman, Iran and Iraq. The value of Qatari projects fell by 0.5 per cent.
