Gulf Projects 8 March 2010: Index down 0.1 per cent

The MEED Projects index decreased by 0.1 per cent in the week to 8 March.

All GCC countries except Kuwait saw a decline in current deal volume on the previous week. Iraq witnessed the greatest increase. The total value of projects on hold is now nearly $626bn and the index is down 9.2 per cent on the previous year.
