Biography: Haider Khan joined Etisalat in June 2008 as a segment marketing manager.

Currently, he is heading up the health department’s business development activities. Khan has more than 19 years’ experience in the ICT industry, working across Europe, Australasia and the Middle East. He graduated from Queen Mary University in London with a law degree in 1991. Khan began his career as an account manager with Telecom Europa, moving to Esprit Telecom in 1997.

He joined IBM in New Zealand in 2000 as a client relationship manager and became a senior account manager at Telecom New Zealand two years later. In 2006, he was promoted to sales manager.

Khan is a trained management consultant, specialising in implementing Lean Six Sigma (LSS) methodologies in the services industry, and was the LSS coach at Telecom New Zealand in 2007.
