Petrochina asks companies to submit bids on project management consultancy on 18 August
Petrochina has extended the bid deadline for a tender for project management consultancy (PMC) on its phase-three development of the Halfaya oil field in Iraq.
The state-owned Chinese group has asked for bids to be submitted by 18 August, extending the date from the original deadline of 11 August.
The scope of the PMC contract includes assisting Petrochina in reviewing the detailed engineering design, ensuring engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contractors carry out their work within the project schedule, and recommending design changes.
Petrochina tendered the PMC contract on 30 June.
The Halfaya consortium includes Petrochinas parent group China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), Malaysia-based Petronas, Frances Total and state-owned Missan Oil Company.
